OpenAI algorithms beat human teams at computer game Dota 2
Some say this is as big a step as AlphaGo beating Lee Sedol 2 years ago. Beating a team of humans at Dota2 is no small feat indeed. It requires coordination and requires handling an extremely complex gameplay with many possible moves, fog, long-term planning etc. See also OpenAI's blog post.
