Adobe Ties Photoshop, Premiere to NVIDIA RTX Spark for 2x Speedup
TL;DR
- Adobe and NVIDIA claim up to 2x faster AI processing, editing, color and effects across Photoshop, Premiere and Substance 3D on the new RTX Spark hardware.
- Frame.io cloud video now reports roughly 5x faster embedding generation, a 4-5x P95 latency improvement and an about 80% smaller search proxy.
- Adobe's Brand Concierge agent is optimized on NVIDIA Nemotron open models, with NVIDIA selecting it to power personalized interactions on NVIDIA.com and enterprise availability planned later in 2026.
Adobe and NVIDIA have extended a strategic pact first announced in March, tying optimized builds of Photoshop, Premiere, Substance 3D, Frame.io and Brand Concierge to NVIDIA's RTX Spark hardware, which launches October 16. The two companies, according to NVIDIA, claim up to 2x faster AI processing, editing, color and effects across the three desktop apps on Spark, with Adobe rearchitecting Photoshop around GPU-accelerated compositing.
"Powered by RTX Spark, Adobe's optimized tools deliver up to 2x faster performance to accelerate these new workflows," said Jason Paul, VP of Local AI at NVIDIA.
Frame.io gets a different flavor of the same bet. The cloud video service, accelerated with NVIDIA NVDEC and TensorRT, now reports approximately 5x faster embedding generation, a 4-5x improvement in P95 processing latency and a search proxy about 80% smaller. Adobe also said its Brand Concierge agent is now optimized on NVIDIA Nemotron open models, with enterprise availability planned later in 2026; NVIDIA has selected Brand Concierge to power personalized interactions on NVIDIA.com.
Deepa Subramaniam, Adobe's VP of product marketing for creative professionals, framed the deal in workflow terms: "By partnering with NVIDIA to optimize Photoshop, Premiere and Substance 3D for RTX Spark...we're delivering the performance creatives need." The companies plan joint demonstrations at Adobe MAX, November 10-12. The announcement lands in a dense stretch of NVIDIA coverage on our tracker, including a benchmark posted earlier this week putting Spark narrowly ahead of Apple's M5 Max on a Qwen local-AI test.
