Agility Robotics on Sept 15 unveiled Digit 5, its first humanoid designed to work safely alongside humans without physical barriers, using AI collision-avoidance software and new sensors. The Salem, Oregon company is positioning V5 as the industry's first 'cooperatively safe' humanoid ahead of December customer shipments and its planned $2.5B SPAC listing under ticker AGLT. Early customers are already discussing multi-year V5 orders worth roughly $300 million.
