Amazon Opens Seller Tools to Outside AI Agents, Starts With Claude on Bedrock at Accelerate

At Amazon Accelerate on Sept 23, Amazon opened its Seller Central APIs to outside AI agents, launching a US beta plugin that lets sellers manage inventory, prices, listings and analytics through Anthropic's Claude or Amazon's own Quick assistant without opening Seller Central. The Seller Assistant runs on Amazon Bedrock combining Amazon Nova and Claude, and Amazon is bundling a free 12-month Quick Plus subscription through Dec 31, 2026 for every primary account holder. Amazon said ~90% of sellers already use outside AI to run parts of their operations.
