Anthropic Expands Claude Startups With $45K Partner Stack

Anthropic Funding ai-business

TL;DR

  • Approved founders get $1,000 in Claude API credits and one year of Claude Team free for up to five Premium seats.
  • A new Claude Startup Stack bundles up to $45,000 in third-party offers, including $5,000 in ClickHouse Cloud credits and 12 months of ElevenLabs.
  • Eligibility is startups founded in the last five years or funded in the last two; VC-partner-backed founders can access up to $100,000 extra in API credits.

Anthropic will hand approved founders $1,000 in Claude API credits and a free year of Claude Team for up to five Premium seats, alongside a bundle of third-party offers worth up to $45,000. CNBC reported the expansion on Tuesday, timed to SF Tech Week, calling it "the artificial intelligence lab's latest push to deepen its ties to founders and fast-growing companies."

The new piece is the Claude Startup Stack, a set of credits and discounts from companies building with Claude across Build, Design, Analyze, and Grow categories. The listed offers include $5,000 in ClickHouse Cloud credits, 12 months of ElevenLabs free with 33 million characters, and $100 in Cosmos credits from Augment Code. Members redeem each offer with a code in the Claude Console.

Anthropic will also host 45-minute virtual office hours with its applied AI team every other week, plus hackathons and community meetups. Members who receive credits automatically get higher API rate limits. Founders backed by a venture firm in Anthropic's partner network can receive up to $100,000 in additional API credits, claimed through their investor.

To qualify, a startup must have been founded within the last five years or received funding within the last two years. The fine print draws a line on the partner offers: Anthropic "does not create, fund, administer, or guarantee Stack benefits and is not a party to any transaction between a member and a provider."

The move adds to a steady run of Anthropic go-to-market activity we've tracked across our Anthropic coverage over the past quarter.
