Anthropic Takes Claude for Government General Availability, Adds Claude Code CLI and Microsoft 365 Early Access

Anthropic made Claude for Government generally available to US federal and state agencies on September 30, graduating the FedRAMP High environment out of a July beta. Pricing drops seat fees in favor of fixed usage increments with hard not-to-exceed caps, and the environment adds early access to the Claude Code CLI plus Claude for Microsoft 365 alongside two-person approval for sensitive operations.
