Basecamp Research Raises $140M Series C at $800M Led by S32, Anthropic and Nvidia Join

London-based Basecamp Research closed an oversubscribed $140M Series C led by S32, valuing the AI drug-discovery startup at $800M and lifting total funding to $225M. Nvidia and Anthropic's Anthology Fund joined alongside Catalio, the NATO Innovation Fund, the Rockefeller Foundation and Singular. Proceeds go to training its EDEN therapeutic-design models on a proprietary genomic dataset sourced from partnerships in 30+ countries, targeting in vivo cell therapies.
