Buildots Raises $130M as AI Data-Center Builds Fuel Growth

TL;DR

  • Buildots raised $130 million led by O.G. Venture Partners, bringing total capital raised to $297 million for its AI construction platform.
  • The Tel Aviv startup's customer roster has grown from about 50 to more than 100 large builders in the 16 months since its $45M Series D.
  • CEO Roy Danon credits the AI buildout with pouring 'rocket fuel' on demand, citing threefold annual revenue growth for several years.

Buildots has raised $130 million in fresh capital to expand an AI platform that converts construction-site video into 3D digital twins, SiliconAngle reported. O.G. Venture Partners led the round, with Lightspeed Venture Partners, Intel Capital, Qumra Capital, Viola Growth and Poalim Equity participating, alongside Mohari Ventures, Human Capital Investment Management and individual investor Avigdor Willenz.

The Tel Aviv company's customer base has grown from roughly 50 construction firms to more than 100 in the 16 months since a $45 million Series D led by Qumra Capital. Named customers include Digital Realty, Intel, Turner Construction, HOCHTIEF, Bouygues, Mortenson, JE Dunn and STO Building Group. Total capital raised now stands at $297 million, and the company reports 'threefold annual revenue growth for several years,' though it does not disclose absolute revenue.

Chief executive Roy Danon framed the moment around the AI buildout itself. 'It will soon be inconceivable that anyone managed a construction portfolio without Buildots,' he said in the funding announcement. 'That shift was already underway before the AI buildout, but the buildout has poured rocket fuel on it.'

Ziv Kop, managing partner at O.G. Venture Partners, argued the platform's edge is proprietary data. 'Buildots is that layer for construction, trained on a volume and quality of site data that nobody else has,' he said.

Proceeds will fund expansion across North America and Europe and extend the software from bidding through handover, on top of a recent acquisition of workforce and safety startup Genda. The raise lands amid a steady run of AI-infrastructure funding we've been tracking, including Nvidia-backed Firmus's move toward a $5 billion Australia IPO to bankroll a 1.6GW data-center project.
