TL;DR
- Cloudflare reported Q3 revenue of $782.5 million, up 39% year over year, and crossed $3 billion in annualized revenue for the first time.
- Management raised full-year guidance for the third time in 2026, now $2.963-$2.964 billion, citing Workers and agentic workloads as drivers.
- CEO Matthew Prince cited an $11 million pool-of-funds Workers contract from a rapidly growing AI customer as evidence of the agentic pivot.
Cloudflare posted $782.5 million in third-quarter revenue, up 39% year over year, and crossed $3 billion in annualized revenue for the first time, the Wall Street Journal reported. Non-GAAP earnings came in at $0.38 per share against a $0.34 estimate. The stock surged after hours.
Chief executive Matthew Prince called it "Cloudflare's best quarter ever." On the call he framed the result as a platform moment. "Now we're in the era of AI and agents," he said, describing Cloudflare as "the first agentic cloud, and developers are flocking to us to build the agentic AI future."
The company credited the jump to "rapid growth in its Workers developer platform and agentic workloads across its network," alongside continued momentum with its largest customer cohorts. Prince flagged one specific deal: an $11 million pool-of-funds contract with a rapidly growing AI company for Workers, with the customer already exploring Workers AI and Cloudflare OS to build next-generation applications and agents. Neither Cloudflare nor the reporting named the customer.
Management raised full-year guidance for the third time in 2026, now projecting revenue between $2.963 billion and $2.964 billion with adjusted earnings of $1.35 per share. Fourth-quarter revenue is guided to $845 million to $846 million, with $0.43 in adjusted EPS. Non-GAAP operating income was $137.1 million, or 17.5% of revenue, up from $85.9 million a year earlier. Free cash flow was $82.1 million, or 10% of revenue, down from 13% in the year-ago quarter.
The pitch lands into a crowded field. Our agents tracker has logged 537 stories in the past 90 days as hyperscalers, startups and edge providers all race to host agent runtimes; Cloudflare's claim is that the network is already there.
