Commerce Secretary Lutnick Says 'We Trust Anthropic,' Lab Is 'Back on the Right Side'

At the G20 Innovation Ministerial in Chapel Hill, Commerce Secretary Howard Lutnick publicly told the audience 'we trust Anthropic,' saying the lab is 'back on the right side' with the Trump administration and 'they've done what we asked.' The reset comes weeks after Lutnick briefly imposed export controls on Fable 5 and Mythos 5, later lifted, and after a federal judge ruled the Pentagon's Anthropic blacklist unconstitutional.
