Dutch Nanoimprint Lithography Startup Morphotonics Raises €40M Extension From 3M Ventures and EIC Fund

Netherlands-based Morphotonics said Sept 21 it raised €40M in an extended round from 3M Ventures, Innovation Industries, BOM, Invest-NL, EIC Fund, EIB and Dutch family office Ernij Next. The company builds nanoimprint-lithography stamps used to print waveguides for AR-glasses displays (customers include Meta Ray-Ban, Magic Leap and Even Reality) and photonic integrated components targeted at AI data-center optics. Headcount doubled to ~60 since Sept 2024 and CEO Hugo Da Silva is targeting roughly 50 machine deployments over two to three years.
