Lyte AI, founded by ex-Apple Face ID and PrimeSense engineers under CEO Alexander Shpunt, closed a $165M round led by Maverick Silicon at a $1.6B valuation — more than triple its January mark. Fidelity, Atreides, Key1 Capital and Ora Global also participated, bringing total funding to $272M since 2021. Lyte's 'LyteVision' fuses cameras, inertial sensing and 4D perception into a unified stack pitched as a 'visual brain' for humanoids, robotic arms, mobile robots and robotaxis — squarely inside the physical-AI perception layer.
