Delos Data, founded by former Intel engineers, raised over $100M led by Matrix Partners and Playground (with ex-Intel CEO Pat Gelsinger as a partner) to build networking chips that keep AI accelerators from idling on data waits. Additional investors include Socratic Partners, Capricorn, Matter Venture Partners, IAG and DYNAMIQ; the company pitches networking as the next bottleneck after compute and memory.
