Federal Judge Orders Musk to Hand Over Apple Settlement Terms After X and SpaceXAI Dropped Antitrust Case

US District Judge Mark Pittman on Tuesday ordered X and SpaceXAI to turn over, for in-camera review, 'any agreement or combination of agreements with Apple' behind their sudden dismissal-with-prejudice motion in the ChatGPT antitrust case, with a Sept 17 noon deadline. The Musk-owned companies filed to drop Apple last Sunday without disclosing terms; the case against OpenAI Foundation, OpenAI L.L.C. and OpenAI OpCo remains active. Apple did not oppose the dismissal motion but may respond by the same deadline.
