Firebird Opens 300MW Nvidia AI Factory in Armenia, Plans 70,000 Blackwell and Rubin GPUs by 2027

US startup Firebird has begun operating a Nvidia DSX-based data center in Armenia expected to scale to 300MW and 70,000+ Blackwell and Rubin GPUs by end-2027, backed by a $500M public-private partnership with the Armenian government. Nvidia said it intends to invest directly, and Bloomberg reported that Trump has pledged export approvals for Armenia. Roughly 20% of capacity is reserved for local research and government use; the rest is sold to foreign customers including Perplexity.
