Forus Raises $150M Series C at $3B to Speed AI-Guided Prescription Fulfillment

AI health startup Forus (formerly Tandem) closed a $150M Series C at a $3B valuation on Sept 8, per Bloomberg, months after its previous round. Bain Capital Ventures led, with Accel, Thrive Capital, General Catalyst, Redpoint, BoxGroup and Pear VC joining. Founded in 2023, Forus uses AI to automate the insurance-approval, financial-assistance and pharmacy steps that stall prescriptions after a doctor writes them; its platform is free for providers and patients.
