Google Ships Gemini 3.8 Flash and Flash-Lite TTS With 2,000 Voices and 100+ Languages

Google released Gemini 3.8 Flash TTS and Flash-Lite TTS, calling them its 'most expressive audio generation models yet' with support for 100+ languages and dialects including Mexican Spanish, Quebec French and Scots English. Both models offer 2,000+ production voices, voice replication from 30-second samples with consent verification, and line-by-line performance direction over pacing, dialect and backchanneling. Google says the models topped Hume AI's Voice Design Benchmark and multiple Voice Arena leaderboards, with SynthID watermarking and C2PA credentials on every output.
