Hackers strip Flock camera, extract encryption key showing 50,200 vehicles tracked in 21 days

Hacker group stegan0gram physically removed a Flock Safety camera from an Alpharetta, Georgia roadway, extracted its storage and recovered software, on-device video, and the encryption key protecting footage. Records show the device generated 1.6M images and photographed 50,200 vehicles in 21 days, with each vehicle averaging 28 images; the system flags license plates, vehicles, bikes and people, and misclassified bumper stickers and American-flag patches as plates. Feeds from Alpharetta cameras were shared with 2,000+ agencies including police, colleges, airports and federal offices.
