HUMAIN Expands Nvidia Pact to 84MW, 27,000 GPUs in Saudi Arabia

TL;DR

  • HUMAIN will deploy up to 84MW of Nvidia AI compute in Saudi Arabia, built around roughly 27,000 next-generation GPUs.
  • A 14MW Blackwell HGX B300 cluster of about 6,000 GPUs comes online in Q4 2026 using Quantum-X800 InfiniBand networking.
  • A later 70MW Vera Rubin phase from mid-2027 earmarks 50MW for an unnamed US-based client and 20MW for HUMAIN Cloud.

Saudi Arabia's HUMAIN will deploy up to 84 megawatts of Nvidia-accelerated AI compute, built around roughly 27,000 GPUs, in two phases running through 2027. The announcement came at Nvidia's GTC conference in Berlin on October 22 and was reported by The National.

The first phase lands 14MW of Nvidia Blackwell HGX B300 systems, around 6,000 GPUs, starting Q4 2026, connected using Nvidia Quantum-X800 InfiniBand networking. The second phase, 70MW of the forthcoming Vera Rubin platform (roughly 21,000 GPUs), begins rollout from mid-2027. Of that Rubin tranche, 50MW is already dedicated to frontier-scale AI workloads for a single US-based client, with infrastructure targeted to begin June 2027. HUMAIN's own cloud service picks up the remaining 20MW in July or August 2027.

The US customer is not named.

"We are moving quickly to bring the next generations of Nvidia-accelerated computing into Saudi Arabia at meaningful scale," HUMAIN CEO Tareq Amin said.

HUMAIN is chaired by Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman and owned by the kingdom's Public Investment Fund. It is targeting nearly 3 gigawatts of data-centre capacity by 2030 and more than 6 gigawatts by 2034, a trajectory that still sits beneath the UAE's Stargate build, whose initial 1GW cluster forms phase one of a planned 5GW facility.
