Cornelis Networks closed a $205M round led by IAG Capital Partners and unveiled Active Compute Fabric, an open-architecture GPU-agnostic networking layer aimed at Nvidia's InfiniBand and NVLink. The Intel-spinoff simultaneously announced a strategic collaboration with Qualcomm for rack-scale inference; its CN5000 400 Gbps switch ships today and the multi-protocol CN6000 800 Gbps arrives Q4.
