Kuaishou's Kling Ships Kling 4.0 Flash to Annual Subscribers, 30-Second 4K/HDR AI Video Generation

Kuaishou's newly spun-off Kling unit launched Kling 4.0 Flash on Sept 28 to Ultra Yearly subscribers ahead of a planned Hong Kong IPO. Kling 4.0 doubles maximum clip length to 30 seconds, accepts a dozen-plus input references including text, images and existing video, supports up to 10 keyframes for stylistic control, and outputs up to 4K/10-bit HDR with stereo audio. Full release is slated for October; Kling was valued at ~$18B in a July financing round.
