Lyft Turns On Waymo Robotaxi Matching in Nashville, Its Second US City

Lyft has begun matching Nashville riders with Waymo autonomous vehicles at no additional cost, making Nashville the second US city with Lyft-app robotaxi hailing. Lyft's Flexdrive subsidiary handles fleet ops — cleaning, charging, maintenance and a purpose-built depot — while Waymo runs the driving stack. Waymo already served Nashville via its own app since April; the Lyft-app launch is the first market where Waymo rides are hailable from both apps.
