Chinese autonomous-vehicle maker Neolix has closed a Series E of nearly $400 million led by Boyu Capital, taking total funding past $1.4 billion, Bloomberg reported.
The new backers include Alibaba Group Holding's AEF NextGen Fund, Monolith Management, Granite Asia Capital and Temasek-backed Vertex, alongside existing shareholders Stone Venture and Trustar Capital. The company says it now has 'more than 30,000 driverless vehicles operating in more than 300 cities across 20 countries,' with services already live across the Middle East, Europe, Asia and Australia, according to DealStreetAsia.
Founded in early 2018 by chief executive Enyuan Yu, Neolix will spend the proceeds on local service hubs in major regional markets and on building out its global customer fulfilment network. It called the round 'the largest single financing in China's autonomous driving sector this year.'
The deal sits inside a steady run of China AI and robotics capital flows our tracker has followed through 2026, and extends Alibaba's own AI-era bets past cloud and models into physical delivery hardware.
