Nvidia's Huang Pledges $2B in Fresh Europe AI Deals, Takes Stakes in Four French Startups

Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang said at a Paris meeting with President Macron that the company will announce $2B in new European AI deals over the next week, on top of the $8B pledged in the past year. Nvidia is taking stakes in French startups Doctolib, Genesis AI, Pigment and Entalpic. Huang argued open-weight models are 'Europe's best route' to narrow the gap with US and Chinese labs.
