Qualcomm and Amazon Ink Multi-Generation AI Silicon Deal, Warrant Grants AWS Up to 25M Shares

Qualcomm and AWS unveiled a multi-generation collaboration to co-design custom AI-inference silicon and optical connectivity up to 1.6T, backed by a warrant letting Amazon acquire up to 25 million QCOM shares. Qualcomm stock jumped roughly 10% on the announcement, trading at ~$179.84 on 9.3x average volume. Qualcomm will also expand its use of AWS Bedrock for chip-design EDA workloads.
