Reframe Systems Raises $40M Series A Extension to Scale Robotic Home-Building Microfactories

Ex-Amazon Robotics leaders' Reframe Systems raised a $40M Series A extension led by Energy Impact Partners, with Counterpart Ventures, E12 Ventures, Global Brain, Thin Line Capital, Up Partners and LACI Impact Fund joining. The startup uses 'Physical AI' plus a Pixels-to-Parts software stack to run small, highly automated microfactories that build modular homes 3x faster at 35% lower cost than traditional construction. Its Billerica FAB1 facility targets up to 500 multifamily units or 250 single-family homes annually.
