Salesforce Ships Trusted Enterprise AI Harness and AI Control Plane to Govern Cross-Vendor Agent Sprawl

Salesforce previewed a six-capability Trusted Enterprise AI Harness plus an AI Control Plane on September 10 ahead of Dreamforce, positioning itself as the governance layer over the 3.1 agent platforms the average enterprise now runs (per VentureBeat Intelligence's July 2026 survey). The stack bundles Trusted Context, Agency, Action, Governance, Security and Models with routing, lineage and cost/observability across Salesforce and third-party AI; most capabilities are live, remaining features roll out in fiscal 2028.
