TCS HyperVault Commits $7.4B for 1GW AI Data Center Campus in Hyderabad

Tata Consultancy Services' HyperVault unit and partners have committed 700 billion rupees ($7.4B) to build an AI data center campus on 264 acres in Hyderabad, Telangana, targeting up to 1 gigawatt of high-density, liquid-cooled compute for frontier AI labs and hyperscalers. The project follows TPG's $1B injection into TCS's data center arm last November and claims water-neutral, green-powered design — a claim India has no mandatory reporting regime to verify, unlike EU peers over 500kW. Construction is targeted for early 2027 completion.
