The Information: Gimlet Labs Told Investors OpenAI Could Spend $100M+ Yearly on Its Multi-Silicon Cloud

The Information reports that Gimlet Labs closed its $300M Series B at a $3B valuation after telling investors OpenAI could spend more than $100 million a year on its multi-silicon inference cloud. OpenAI told The Information it is not yet a paying Gimlet customer, raising questions about how the projection was framed during the three-tranche fundraise. The deal was led by Andreessen Horowitz with Arm and Microsoft's M12 also joining.
