TPG in Talks to Buy UK's Ark Data Centres From Elliott Management at Around $5 Billion

TPG is in talks to buy Ark Data Centres from Elliott Management at roughly $5B, per FT. Ark runs 27 UK and Belgium facilities and co-owns Crown Hosting with the UK Cabinet Office, hosting workloads for IBM and Palo Alto Networks. The deal would rank among this year's five largest data-center transactions as 2026 totals hit $89.4B, 50% above all of 2025.
