Trump Awards Musk, Huang, Su, Brin, Nadella and Dell National Medals at Washington AI Summit

President Trump awarded Elon Musk, Jensen Huang, Lisa Su and Sergey Brin the National Medal of Science and gave Satya Nadella and Michael Dell the National Medal of Technology and Innovation at the 'Science: A New Golden Age' summit at the U.S. Institute of Peace on Oct. 8. Nvidia used the same event to commit $1 billion over five years to U.S. science. TechCrunch reports the honorees and their companies have collectively donated roughly $6 billion to Trump-related efforts, and the ceremony followed last month's voluntary 'White House Accord on Super Intelligence.'
