Uber and Wayve Launch London's First Commercial Robotaxi Service With Ford Mustang Mach-E Fleet

Uber and Britain's Wayve rolled out London's first commercial robotaxi service on Sept 3 with fewer than 20 Ford Mustang Mach-Es equipped with Wayve's self-driving stack. This is Wayve's first commercial public deployment anywhere in the world; a licensed operator will ride along until Transport for London clears fully driverless operations. Riders requesting UberX, Uber Comfort or Uber Electric may be matched to the autonomous fleet at no extra cost.
