Uber Deploys OpenAI ChatGPT Work to All 30,000 Employees After 1,000-User Pilot

Uber on Oct 22 said it is deploying OpenAI's ChatGPT Work companywide to more than 30,000 employees after piloting with 1,000, marking its first company-wide agentic platform rollout for knowledge work. GPT-6.1 Sol serves as the default model, with integrations into Google Drive and Slack and an internal AI skills library plus training. Operations, finance, marketing and product teams get access first.
