UK PM Burnham Vows to Broker Global AI Deal via G20 Presidency, Announces US Defence Partnership

At UNGA, UK PM Andy Burnham said Britain will use its 2027 Manchester G20 presidency to broker a global AI governance agreement, pitching the UK as an 'honest broker' between the US, EU and China with the AI Security Institute as backing. He also unveiled a new AI defence partnership tying the UK's TF RAID to the US CDAO to protect critical infrastructure. AI minister Kanishka Narayan is accompanying him in New York.
