WSJ: AWS Abu Dhabi and Bahrain Still Mostly Offline Six Months After Iranian Drone Strikes

AWS's me-central-1 (Abu Dhabi) and me-south-1 (Bahrain) regions remain mostly offline more than six months after being damaged by Iranian drones, WSJ reports, complicating the Gulf's sovereign-AI ambitions. Follow-on strikes as recent as July have targeted the already-degraded Bahrain site; AWS's last public status update on either region was April 30.
