- Named customers include Legora, Supermicro and ServiceTitan; the pitch spans sales, recruiting, marketing, finance and engineering, not only coding tasks.
xAI is opening Grok Bot, its autonomous AI-teammate product, to enterprise buyers. Admins now get access, network and audit controls for governing bots at scale, according to an announcement on x.ai dated September 3, 2026. Grok and Cursor Enterprise customers receive two weeks free and can invite an entire organization, including staff without an existing seat.
xAI's own framing describes Grok Bot as "your team of helpful AI teammates where you delegate real tasks to them," with each bot running on its own cloud computer and using "every app and website the same way you do." Bots learn workflows by watching a user demonstrate, accept corrections before running autonomously, and can message each other to share context. A successfully configured bot can be distributed to teammates as a template.
The governance stack has three layers. Admin, security and authentication events flow into an audit log dashboard that can be viewed or streamed to a SIEM. An Enterprise-only Action Recording setting, off by default with 90-day retention, captures what bots did during a run, with shell commands scrubbed. An OpenTelemetry Export path lets customers pipe sanitized events into their own collectors. Each user's work runs in an isolated environment with no default access.
xAI names Legora, Supermicro and ServiceTitan among customers already using the product. The pitch leans on functions outside engineering: sales bots monitoring webinars and updating decks mid-call, recruiting bots prospecting overnight, finance bots tracking vendor spend for cost-saving opportunities.

The announcement does not disclose per-seat pricing outside the trial or the usage figures behind the customer logos.
