Ex-Ekso Bionics posts first results as AI compute

ChronoScale Holdings (CHRN) reported financial results for the fiscal first quarter ended August 31, 2026, the first earnings release since a business combination completed on May 5, 2026 transformed the company from Ekso Bionics, maker of medical rehabilitation exoskeletons. The legacy Ekso business is now classified as held for sale and reported in discontinued operations. The filing describes what remains:

an accelerated compute platform purpose-built to support demanding artificial intelligence workloads

Revenue figures for the new compute business do not appear in the 8-K. The combination closed in May; ChronoScale reached its first public earnings report as an AI infrastructure company five months later.

Daily Journal Corp buys AI evidence tool for courts

Daily Journal Corporation (DJCO) completed the acquisition of Revir Technologies, an Austin-based software company whose Scout platform uses artificial intelligence to help law enforcement agencies, prosecutors, and corrections departments manage and search large collections of digital evidence. The deal was funded from cash on hand and described as not material to the company. Revir will operate within DJCO's Courts, Justice, and Government Technology division alongside Journal Technologies.

Agentic AI enters a staffing succession, a named ETF, and risk language

ManpowerGroup (MAN) announced that CEO Jonas Prising will be succeeded by Becky Frankiewicz. The board's description of her tenure at the global staffing firm ran partly in AI terms:

driving the integration of AI and agentic AI across the organization and positioning the company and its global brands – Manpower, Experis, and Talent Solutions – for the next era of growth, innovation and transformation

Tidal Trust I filed a 485APOS amendment that formally adds the SoFi Agentic AI ETF to the SoFi fund family, registering investment advisory agreement changes that cover the new product. SciSparc (SPRC), an Israeli pharmaceutical company, announced it will shift its focus to "agentic AI-powered technologies" spanning cybersecurity and finance. On the risk side, Zeta Global (ZETA) added language to a 424B5 prospectus supplement identifying regulations applicable to "agentic AI systems and AI-generated content" as an emerging compliance exposure that could adversely affect its business and financial condition.

Recursion names clinical trial enrollment among agentic AI targets

Recursion Pharmaceuticals (RXRX) filed an 8-K alongside an investor presentation that included forward-looking statements specifying what the company expects its internal agentic AI tools to deliver:

the anticipated benefits of our agentic AI tools, including expected improvements in scientific productivity, design and analysis cycle times, and clinical trial enrollment rates

These are expectations, not reported results. Naming clinical trial enrollment rates as a discrete target goes beyond the generic productivity language most drug discovery companies attach to internal AI programs.

Natural gas minerals S-1 builds its IPO case on AI electricity demand

WhiteHawk Minerals Corp. (WHK) filed an S-1 for a Nasdaq listing and named two demand catalysts for natural gas royalties:

...we believe we are well positioned to capitalize on two powerful natural gas demand catalysts: artificial intelligence ("AI") driven electricity demand growth and expanding U.S. liquefied natural gas ("LNG") exports

The filing notes that natural gas accounted for approximately 41% of total U.S. electricity generation in 2025. WhiteHawk holds royalty interests rather than operating assets, which means the AI electricity argument here is a claim that data center power consumption will translate into royalty income. The S-1 frames AI power demand as a sales argument for investors, not a risk factor to manage.
