What public companies just told the SEC about AI, read straight from the filings. Every quote links the original document.
Anthropic Files an S-1 With the SEC
Anthropic, PBC filed a registration statement on November 2. The document on EDGAR is an exhibit covering intellectual property representations, in which the company asserts that its software has been developed in line with its contractual obligations and its own public statements about its AI development processes. For a company that has been central to the AI safety debate while staying private, the appearance of a registration statement on EDGAR is itself a significant data point.
Arista Posts 58.5% Revenue Gain on AI Demand
Arista Networks reported Q3 revenue of $3.66 billion, up 58.5% from Q3 2025 and 20.5% from its own second quarter. GAAP operating margin reached 44.9%. CEO Jayshree Ullal tied the results directly to AI infrastructure demand:
This strong momentum across customer sectors highlights our increased relevance for the generative and agentic AI era.
For a networking company already operating at this scale, 58.5% annual revenue growth is an unusual result.
Mortgage and Insurance Companies Use "Agentic AI" for the First Time
Redwood Trust, a residential mortgage REIT, and EverQuote, an insurance comparison marketplace, each used the phrase "agentic AI" in an earnings filing for the first time. Both made arguments about labor displacement in underwriting. Redwood Trust's shareholder letter framed the shift in structural terms:
the need for conformance is rapidly changing thanks to the potential of agentic AI. We believe the future of housing finance will be based on customizing mortgages around each borrower, with no loss of speed or quality at scale. AI agents now make the scarcity value of skilled labor obsolete – they work around the clock, read every page of every file, and apply every guideline the same way for every loan application.
EverQuote's CEO cast the same shift as competitive positioning. The company reported Q3 revenue of $218.1 million, up 25% year over year:
Carriers continue to maintain strong underwriting profitability and an appetite for growth, and our team is executing seamlessly to meet this demand. As we build on our strong foundation to accelerate new product innovation and development, we believe EverQuote is uniquely positioned to help steward P&C insurance into the agentic AI era.
WhiteFiber Pays $60 Million for North Carolina Data Center Land
WhiteFiber (WYFI) disclosed in an 8-K the completed purchase of two industrial properties in Yadkin County, North Carolina, designated NC-2 and NC-3, for $60 million paid in cash. The company describes itself as a provider of AI infrastructure solutions. The acquisition follows an earlier NC-1 development site in the same state, giving WhiteFiber three active North Carolina positions in what the filing describes as an ongoing development program.
AI Expansion Named Inside a $115 Million Restructuring
Alight, Inc. disclosed in its 10-Q that its Post-Separation Plan now carries an estimated $115 million in pre-tax restructuring costs, an increase from prior projections, with the plan's duration extended. The filing names AI as a stated goal of the program alongside headcount reduction:
The PSP includes simplifying our post-divestiture operating model, rationalizing our technology spend, expanding our use of artificial intelligence and automation and continued optimization of real estate.
Costs consist primarily of cash severance. Separately, Titan Acquisition Corp. named a specific AI failure mode in its 8-K risk factors: AI and machine learning deployed in onboarding, sanctions screening, and transaction monitoring that may produce flawed or biased results, with direct exposure to regulatory enforcement and litigation. That operational specificity in a compliance context is not typical risk-factor language.
