WhiteFiber Spends $60 Million Cash on North Carolina Land

What public companies just told the SEC about AI, read straight from the filings. Every quote links the original document.

WhiteFiber Spends $60 Million Cash on North Carolina Land

WhiteFiber, Inc. (WYFI), an AI infrastructure provider, paid $60 million in cash on November 3 for two industrial properties in Yadkin County, North Carolina, through its subsidiary Enovum Data Centers Corp. The parcels are designated NC-2 and NC-3; an NC-1 project is already underway approximately 55 miles away. Three development-stage data center sites in the same county, all acquired in cash, in rapid succession, is a posture of committed buildout rather than land optionality.

Also filed November 3: Artificial Intelligence Technology Solutions, Inc. (AITX) disclosed that a global logistics client has committed to a fourth ROAMEO unit from its RAD security robot division, with two already deployed and a third deployment underway. A single enterprise customer ordering a fourth unit of the same hardware carries more weight as a commercial signal than any new-name count would.

Unity Leans on Coding Agent Integrations and a Google Partnership

In its Q3 earnings 8-K on November 5, Unity Software (U) tied its AI investment directly to developer adoption, naming third-party coding agent integrations as a growth mechanism. The filing also surfaces Unity Spark, a Google partnership, as a near-term product launch; pricing and monetization remain undetermined. Unity connects both to its flywheel thesis: more developer activity generates behavioral data for its Vector advertising product.

...Unity's strategic initiatives, including its continued investment and focus on artificial intelligence tools and integrations with third-party coding agents, and their expected impact on developer adoption...

An AI Healthcare LOI Collapses Two Weeks After Signing

DataMeds AI, Inc. (MEDS) announced on November 3 that it has terminated the Second Amended and Restated letter of intent, originally executed October 19, with the counterparties to a planned transaction spanning AI and blockchain healthcare assets. The "Second Amended and Restated" designation indicates this arrangement had already been renegotiated twice before it broke down. The 8-K offers no explanation for the termination. DataMeds operates the EinsteinRx AI platform alongside a blockchain-enabled pharmacy chain infrastructure.

Eva Live Launches AI Crypto Trading and Disclaims Custody

Eva Live Inc. (GOAI) announced EvaXCrypto on November 6, a software product using its AI for cryptocurrency market analytics and automated trade execution through users' own accounts at supported exchanges. The filing is explicit that the company does not hold or custody user funds and does not act as a broker, exchange, investment adviser, or money transmitter. The disclaimers map directly to the main regulatory categories the product might otherwise trigger. The CEO's framing in the 8-K:

..."Cryptocurrency markets never sleep. Neither does artificial intelligence," said David Boulette, Chief Executive Officer of Eva Live Inc. "EvaXCrypto applies our artificial intelligence capabilities to a new software product which combines market analytics with user-configured trading strategies and live trade execution through supported exchanges....

AI Risk Boilerplate Reaches Hair Salons; Defense Chip Maker Gets Specific

Regis Corp (RGS), which franchises and operates hair salons primarily inside Walmart locations, listed "our use of artificial intelligence" among its forward-looking risk factors in a November 5 earnings 8-K, alongside its Walmart relationship and cyber threats. Cigna Group (CI) filed the same day with an equivalent clause covering AI and machine learning. Neither company quantifies the exposure or describes a specific AI application in use. The language is now standard enough to appear in a hair salon chain's quarterly release.

GSI Technology (GSIT) occupies different ground. The company is developing a Plato chip targeting defense edge deployments alongside an AI-assisted SDK, and its November 5 earnings 8-K names the specific failure modes it is managing in its own R&D workflow:

...risks associated with our use of artificial intelligence tools in our research and development activities, including the risk that such tools produce inaccurate, defective or infringing outputs, compromise the confidentiality of our proprietary information, or fail to deliver anticipated efficiencies...

IP leakage and defective AI outputs are described as live process risks in GSI's internal work, not hypothetical customer-facing harms. In the IPO pipeline, Ocean Power Technologies (OPTT) filed an S-1A on November 5 covering autonomous maritime platforms for defense, subsea infrastructure, and offshore energy. Its Merrows system is designed to serve as the AI integration layer across hardware platforms:

...Merrows™, our user interface and command and control (C2) system that integrates multiple sensor feeds using software and hardware and enables artificial intelligence and machine learning (AI/ML) integration....
