TL;DR
- Queensland Premier Crisafulli framed the deal as 'data sovereignty,' signaling that state governments are treating AI infrastructure as strategic economic policy.
- The campus spans four build stages over roughly four years; only stage one is under lease, and construction timelines may extend beyond the reported 2027 start.
- FIRB review and Western Downs Regional Council approval remain pending, putting Anthropic's schedule in the hands of two bodies that operate on their own timelines.
Le Premier ministre du Queensland, David Crisafulli, a salué la signature : « This is a major win that will deliver more jobs, put more energy into Queensland's grid and drive down power prices.
