TL;DR
- Arena's Series B closed September 22, nearly doubling its valuation from $1.7B in January; Lightspeed and Khosla Ventures co-led, with a16z, Felicis, Kleiner Perkins, Salesforce Ventures, and Dell Technologies Capital also participating.
- The Alignment Index scores 27 models on three behavioral failure signals across 90,000 real-world agent sessions: unauthorized action, false attribution, and deceptive completion.
- GPT-6.1 Sol leads at 87.9, Claude Opus 5.5 second at 83.2, Grok 4.7 third at 82.7 — a ranking that inverts Anthropic's typical advantage on safety-focused benchmarks.
« At the time, its annualized revenue was $30 million, it said », écrit TechCrunch.
Arena mesure trois comportements : « unauthorized action (taking actions it wasn't asked to take); false attribution (wrongly crediting statements or facts to the wrong source); and what it calls 'deceptive completion' (lying about completing tasks that it didn't do) ».
« Currently, a slate of OpenAI's models are at the top of its preliminary alignment leaderboard, with Claude Opus 5.5 and Claude Fable in sixth and ninth place, respectively », rapporte TechCrunch.
