Google Cloud lance Gemini Agent, qui invoque aussi Claude
TL;DR
- Google prices coworker agents on activity metering, not per-seat licensing, removing the primary cost barrier for large-scale enterprise deployment.
- Each agent receives a cryptographically attested @agents.company.com identity with audit-attributed action logs, making AI behavior accountable in compliance frameworks.
- Claude from Anthropic is the first non-Google model in Gemini's routing layer, with additional private and open models announced for future waves.
Sur scène, Sundar Pichai a chiffré la base installée : "Gemini today has over 1 billion monthly active users", et "nearly 90% of Fortune 100 businesses now use Gemini Enterprise at work".
Côté fonctionnement, Thomas Kurian, directeur général de Google Cloud, décrit un agent auquel on donne des "objectives, not just instructions". L'article précise que "The AI will have its own Workspace account, as if it's just another co-worker", avec sa propre adresse e-mail et son propre contexte. Et "as it takes action, it writes an audit trail attributed to the agent, instead of a person". L'agent planifie, délègue à des sous-agents, et choisit seul le modèle à mobiliser, l'utilisateur gardant la main pour imposer un modèle, "including those from third parties, starting with Anthropic's Claude models".
