Les deux capitales acceptent au passage de désigner l'IA sous le terme « super intelligence », vocabulaire préféré de Donald Trump. Prochaine réunion prévue d'ici novembre.

Le contour opérationnel du dispositif reste flou. Axios écrit noir sur blanc qu'« it's not clear what kind of incidents would rise to the level of using the channel, or what kinds of notifications each side would give the other ». L'agenda annoncé cite les agents IA non contrôlés et l'usage de l'IA par des organisations non gouvernementales influentes comme sujets de discussion.

Il a été confirmé pendant le dîner d'État du 24 septembre à la Maison-Blanche, où Sam Altman, Mark Zuckerberg, Jensen Huang, Elon Musk, Tim Cook, Satya Nadella et Sundar Pichai figuraient parmi plus de 130 invités.

L'annonce prolonge une semaine chargée côté américain, après le tour de vis de Washington sur l'accès de l'AISI aux nouveaux modèles OpenAI et Anthropic.
