Nvidia in Talks to Take Equity Stake in Perplexity at $30B+ Valuation as ARR Tops $750M

The Information reports Nvidia is in talks to invest in Perplexity as part of an equity round that would value the AI search company at more than $30 billion, up 50% from last September's $20B mark. Perplexity's annualized revenue has climbed to over $750M from under $250M at the start of 2026, per the report. Nvidia had previously weighed a technology-licensing deal and staff hires before pursuing the equity route; both companies declined to comment.
