Emerald AI, led by former Biden energy adviser Varun Sivaram, closed a $150M round at a $1.05B valuation led by DCVC and Energize Capital per DealBook. The company's Emerald Conductor platform lets AI data centers throttle, shift or reschedule workloads in real time to relieve grid stress, positioning it as a middleware layer between Nvidia-class compute clusters and utilities. A Form D earlier this month had disclosed $90.2M sold toward the $150M offering.
