Stability AI Raises $76M Series B From EA, Sony Music, UMG, WMG, AMD Ventures at Undisclosed Valuation

Stability AI said August 25 it closed a $76M Series B taking total funding to about $232M under CEO Prem Akkaraju, who took the reins in June 2024. New backers include Electronic Arts, Sony Music Group, Universal Music Group, Warner Music Group, AMD Ventures and Pacific Alliance Ventures — the same rights-holders Stability has struck licensed-catalog training deals with. Proceeds will fund creative-production products, applied research and a professional services arm.
