Palo Alto-based Architect Labs raised a $24 million seed round to build AI tools that automate custom chip design—a process that currently takes ~two years and costs hundreds of millions in labor and R&D. The round was led by Kindred Ventures with TQ Ventures, Race Capital, and Together Fund, plus angels including Google DeepMind Chief Scientist Jeff Dean and executives from OpenAI and Nvidia.
