Claude Fable 5 and Mythos 5 have been blocked globally since a June 12 US export control directive—an action more than 100 cybersecurity experts have publicly demanded be reversed, arguing the triggering 'fix this code' prompt was routine development work, not a jailbreak. Ciauri spoke at the same Seoul event marking Anthropic's third Asia-Pacific office, where Samsung SDS, NAVER, LG CNS, Nexon, and Hanwha are launch partners.
