OpenAI Puts ChatGPT Voice on macOS and Windows, Lets Users Steer Codex and Work Agents by Voice

OpenAI rolled out ChatGPT Voice in the desktop app on July 23, powered by GPT-Live's full-duplex model so users can talk to the app while it speaks, listens and coordinates work in parallel. The feature ships globally on macOS and Windows to Plus, Pro, Business, Edu and Enterprise, and lets users start, check and steer multiple agents running inside ChatGPT Work or Codex by voice; Mac users also get Appshots to give ChatGPT context on the active window.
