Antseed launches peer-to-peer AI inference market with $2.4M

Inference Open Source ai-business

TL;DR

  • The Antseed Foundation closed a $2.4M token round led by Spark Capital, with Collider, DCG, North Island Ventures, Reciprocal Ventures, Venice.ai and Relay Capital participating.
  • The marketplace routes requests across 202 active providers that have processed almost 150 billion tokens, at prices the project says run up to 97% below official API list.
  • Providers set their own prices on hardware they own and are ranked by a reputation system that penalizes those failing Antseed's verification checks.

The Antseed Foundation launched a peer-to-peer AI inference marketplace alongside a $2.4 million token round led by Spark Capital, with the project claiming developers can reach leading frontier models at up to 97% below their official API prices, SiliconANGLE reported.

The network already runs at some scale: Antseed says it has processed almost 150 billion tokens across 202 active providers, each listing capacity on hardware they own and setting their own prices. Antseed verifies provider claims and ranks them with a reputation system that drops routing priority for those that fail checks. Developers route requests by "cost, latency, capability and privacy requirements," pay per request, and skip signup.

"What BitTorrent did for files, Antseed is doing for AI inference, with no central server and no company deciding who gets access or what it costs," co-founder Amos Meiri said.

Beyond Spark, the round drew Collider, DCG, North Island Ventures, Reciprocal Ventures, Venice.ai and Relay Capital. As of September 2026, more than $285,000 had been settled on Base, the project said.

The 97% figure is Antseed's own, and the launch coverage does not break it down by model or benchmark it against a specific API tariff, so the headline discount should be read as a top-of-range claim rather than a steady-state price. It lands into a crowded moment for the category: our inference tracker has logged 89 stories in the last 90 days, most of them about squeezing more tokens out of fixed hardware rather than redistributing where the hardware sits.
